These are the easiest and tastiest burgers ever and as the sun is out and we are all dusting off our barbecues I felt it was time to share my recipe….
Ingredients: (makes 8 small burgers)
500g beef or lamb mince
1 onion (I use red as it’s sweeter) chopped finely
1 clove garlic
1 slice of white bread
1 bunch parsley or coriander
I heaped tbspn of tomato ketchup
Slices of cheddar cheese (optional)
Method:
Put garlic, bread and herbs into a liquidiser and make into breadcrumbs. Put mince in bowl, add bread mix, tomato ketchup and onion. Mix it all up. Make into patties and put on baking tray in fridge for 30 mins or more.
Cook for 15 minutes in oven temp 200° or on the BBQ and add slice of cheese for last 2 minutes!
