This is a fabulous blog, British Beauty Blogger, reviewing all the latest beauty products in all price ranges. I subscribe to a quite a few blogs but when I receive the daily email from British Beauty Blogger I do tend to read it and over the years I have followed many of her recommended tips.
She has worked within the beauty industry for over 15 years so she manages to get lots of inside information. The blog is illustrated with photos often demonstrating new colours on her own skin or nails, giving the reader a realistic idea of how it will look rather than an airbrushed advertising or promotional photo. She is also not shy of telling one what is rubbish as well as what is good. Sometimes it may be just one of the colours within the range that is not to her liking however she also always tells you her favourite or the colour that lasts the longest. Plus she takes into account the price and therefore assesses if the buyer is getting value for money!
As a blogger she is also always defending all of her fellow bloggers and she has been around for some time so she has plenty of tips on how to deal with this comparatively new world of blogging.
P.S. She has a section called What I’m Reading and it so it is not constantly being updated as she, like the rest of us, manages to read books infrequently but it is worth visiting as she recommends great books and you can see that she likes to laugh which we at CountryWives definitely agree with.

Thank you so much for this! What a great start to the week. Just a note though on my book reviews: I read all the time, but when I moved platforms a few months ago a lot of the reviews were lost in the move. I’ve been slow to update it again, but this has given me the nudge I need! Thanks! x
Oh sorry, I thought I had read more reviews than you are showing on your site. Nevertheless I love the way you have this section on a beauty blog site and the reviews are very encouraging to make one go and read the book. I had been toying with the Emma Kennedy book so now I will add it to my ‘Must Read’ list! Annabel
