How wonderful to see you making pancakes in Istanbul G, did you eat them? I could happily live on pancakes for the rest of my life and was a little jealous imagining how delicious your pancake was going to be after your cooking lesson but as you know since January 4th of this year I have not eaten any wheat products apart from on one dreadful day when, because of a storming hangover, I ate a bowl of creamy pasta and then spent the rest of the day in considerable pain and farting continuously. Over these months I have deduced that my digestive system will never have a good relationship with wheat and the two will never tango; far be it for me to put you off me but it’s fair to say that before I gave up wheat not only was I two stone overweight but I did expel wind, a lot, and had really become quite adept at hiding the fact….with the odd slip up here and there. Standing at the cooker once behind my daughter’s best friend who was sitting at the kitchen table I “slipped up”, the best friend was quite shocked and understandably started to giggle, it took me a while to get over that one and I remember being more than a little embarrassed for my own poor daughter, who I secretly hoped her friend thought was the one who had broken wind. Anyway, this sort of incident is no more, it’s a distant memory for me but if any of you out there have a problem with wind you might like to reconsider the amount of wheat in your diet, whole grain wheat and other grains are apparently almost worse than the refined versions, anyway have a read through the following Hub Pages to get a better picture on why you may be popping them out excessively. I know that this isn’t a very lady like blog and I’m sorry if I have lost my two fans as a result of it but sometimes the dirty side of life has to be talked about!
I’ll leave you with a hilarious You Tube clip sent by my exceedingly wonderful god-daughter and which you will have to find out the title of yourself by watching it, I’m afraid it’s rather rude! Needless to say these lovely ladies don’t seem to mind a little giggle at the wrong sort of thing………..rather like us CountryWives when we get together!
