They say a week in politics is a long time as it is in any one’s life…….8 days ago Grace was poolside in Oman, glamorously lounging in her recliner, working on her tan andsipping cocktailswhilst Catherine, future Queen, was gliding down the aisle of Westminster Abbey, looking tanned, polished and highly glamorous and then 7 days later we are all gliding down the aisles of our local supermarket looking just like everyone else, less regal and more housewifely. Credit to Catherine that she embraces all these roles with such ease and poise. The life of a princess in the 21st century has definitely taken a turn for the better!

Meanwhile in politics Nick Clegg proves the point that a week is a long time, as he too was happily gliding down the aisle of WA but yesterday, adversely, he was glumly facing the cameras as his plan for AV voting failed abysmally to win our votes at the polling booths.
A week ago Henry Cooper, Seve Ballesteros and Osama Bin Laden were alive and now……..I will leave it to you to decide if the world is a better place without any of these characters!!
Meanwhile I think I will try and appreciate each day, my life of freedom and anonymity, as I look at these photos and ponder the week we’ve just had whilst I unload my supermarket shop!

Is that really Kate? Or a lookee likee?
It is really Kate at Waitrose in Angelsey!!
