Grace and I had lunch today. Not on Skype or in any other virtual reality way, but I actually drove over to West Sussex to see her. We may be over a certain age, but both of us are determined to get with the programme. You know, to be a bit more tekky, like our kids. I’m pretty good with my iPhone and have lots of lovely apps, including Belly Jam but, unfortunately, haven’t found one that will go to the gym for me. Anyhow, yesterday, a social network savvy friend of Grace’s, Amy, pointed out that the Countrywives were missing a trick, so to speak. That trick was Twitter. The long and short of it is that we are now up there with Stephen Fry, Sarah Brown and Ashton Kutcher! (OK, we can dream). Actually, we don’t know what the hell we’re doing and the idea of having to say something in less than 140 characters is mind-blowing enough.
