Since Gracie has started us all thinking, these are the things that are on my Bucket list but are mostly non-achievable, still I like to dream!
1. Learn to ski brilliantly (currently am happy if I make it to bottom of mountain in one piece)
2. Learn to speak another language or at least speak my own better.
3. Adopt some children (too old apparently)
4. Have lots more of my own children (too old, definitely)
5. Own and drive around in a really flashy convertible (too poor and not very Eco-friendly)
6. Check out back pain or stop going to exercise class (probably the latter is easier)
7. Have more sex (with anyone, but with husband is probably most sensible option)
8. Have a nose and boob job but only if I can have old ones back if I don’t like new ones!
9. Take dogs for more walks………have to add this because one is sitting at my feet and staring at me and does not find my excuse of ‘it’s raining’ a valid reason!
10.Get more sunshine into my life.
Can’t say that doing splits is on my list though could be incorporated into the more sex one.
Have lost half a stone which is fab but unfortunately threw away all my clothes for this size as never thought I would be this small again. However with weight loss comes realisation that I cannot eat any food again if I want to remain this size.
Am off to Lesotho in September, with eldest daughter to visit her adopted orphanage, so that covers working in homeless shelter, visiting country I have never been to and if I help teach a child to read/write then I am well on the way with Grace’s formidable and commendable list………only just realised thatthe aurora borealis is the Northern Lights so as I am such an uneducated gimp maybe I should not put that on my list!!
As for Ellie……can I visit you in Spain as that will deal with my ‘Get more sunshine into my life’ and let’s rent a flashy car!
Am off to take dogs for a walk in the rain so one down and nine to go……..
