Grace loves Woman's Hour

Like Annabel, I really enjoyed my dog walk yesterday. Annie came over with her two retrievers and we were bathed in warm sunshine as we chatted our way through the woods. Tiny spots of colour have appeared in our garden and the daffodil stems have burst up through the ground. Don’t you just love spring? It’s definitely my favourite time of the year. Anyhow, woke up early this morning because of the wind battering the house and it is pure drizzle out there. The dog walk still has to be done of course, so once I have pulled off the muddy wellies and dried off, I am planning to welcome Son back from his weekly board with ayummy Bread & Butter Pudding a la Woman’s Hour. (10am today on R4).Now that’s what I call comfort food. It’s always been a favourite of mine, particularly those marvellous crispy caramelised bits of bread that stick out, Sydney Opera House style, on the top. The equally soothing silky voice of Jenni Murray will also be discussing the threats that loneliness pose and whether it is healthy or not to keep a Sex Diary (well, not if your Husband finds it).
