Grace is home alone – aaaaah! Lovely.

After a superlative 20th anniversary celebration dinner atMarcus Wareing at The Berkeley- I won’t make you jealous with descriptions of the exquisite dishes – plate after glorious plate of miniscule mouthfilling gorgeousness – Husband ran off and left me. Not for another woman, for a man. Yep, after Tuesday’s romantic dinner he hopped on a plane to Denver for a week’s skiing with Smiley Simon. They’ve just Skyped me – how fantastic is it that although he is thousands of miles away, he can show me the condo they are staying in and we can chat away to our heart’s content (and it is free). Anyhow, while Husband finishes his breakfast and looks forward to a chilly day’s skiing, I am thinking about what to cook myself for supper and whether I can bear watching another episode of dreary old Eastenders. But after the hectic day I’ve had it’s all I’ve got the energy for (plus, embarrassingly, I don’t know how to book a Sky Box Office or set up a DVD!).
