ELLIE: I would quite like to kiss Neanderthal man please.

Finally I really do understand why most women (men too I imagine) seem to have a little fancy for Rafa! He is both humble and confident, gentle and powerful, which together with being the greatest tennis player currently on earth is quite a heady mix…so, although he hugely resembles Neanderthal man, with the £30 million under his fig-leaf and an abundance of godly qualities, yes, I probably would buckle if I had to kiss him.

Youngest spotted Nelson Mandela watching this afternoon’s rather lack lustre Wimbledon final, we had to explain to him that it was in fact Trevor MacDonald yawning in amongst the crowd of worthy spectators; there was also a ghastly moment during the match when my new squeeze’s shot didn’t quite make it over the net and up popped footage of Cliff Richard mouthing the words “how pathetic!”. Not only did they show this shameful Cliff-hanger in real time, but again in slow motion.. How ab-so-lut-ely mortifying for Cliff!!
Off to the Costa Del Sol on Tuesday, no doubt I will be raving till the early hours every night with lots of red English people, white Schnau (Chanel)handbags at our feet. Don’t ask me why we’re going, it seemed like a cheap option at the time, it’s all my fault and I am slightly regretting it now. However, we WILL be on Spanish soil by Wednesday night, which is of course when Spain playGermany in the World Cup semi’s, so I am really looking forward to that, you know how much I love a game of football. Then there is of course the fact that Rafael is a Spaniard, and if we ever meet, I will not be lying when I tell him that I have spent 7 blissful?? days on his Costa.

My hot tip for today and an absolute MUST for the summer isCCS Footcare Creamfrom Boots, incredible stuff, just put it on your feet twice a day for 2 weeks and your feet will be as soft as they were 40 years ago, it is better than any other I have ever used, I recommend it to those with hard skin that they can’t shift without a blade, like me! According to a friend even cracked and bleeding skin disappears.Bliuchhh!
